Concrete & Heavy Debris
Concrete & Heavy Debris Dumpster Rental
Broken driveways, patios, sidewalks and dirt are heavy. We use dedicated, right-sized containers so your load stays legal on the road and affordable for you.
Concrete, brick, block, dirt and gravel weigh far more than household or construction debris — a small container of clean concrete can hit the road weight limit long before it looks full. That's why heavy material goes in its own dedicated roll-off, filled to a safe level rather than to the top.
We'll walk you through it when you call. Tell us what you're removing — a driveway, a patio, a stack of pavers — and we'll set you up with the right container and a fill line so you avoid overweight fees and keep the whole job moving.

The right roll-off for this job
Heavy material almost always goes in a 10 yard — its low profile makes loading easy and keeps the weight in check. Never fill a large container fully with concrete.
Good to know
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I put concrete in a big dumpster?
Because it's so dense, a large container full of concrete would exceed legal road weight limits and can't be hauled safely. A 10 yard filled to the marked line is the standard, safe setup for heavy debris.
Can I mix concrete with other trash?
Clean loads are best. Mixing concrete with wood, plastic and general trash can prevent it from being recycled and can complicate disposal. Keep heavy material separate when you can — call us if you're unsure.
Does dirt count as heavy debris?
Yes. Dirt, sod, sand and gravel are all heavy and belong in a dedicated container filled to a safe level, just like concrete.
Where does the concrete end up?
Clean concrete is often crushed and recycled rather than landfilled. Illinois EPA guidance and local facilities encourage recycling of clean construction material — we handle the routing for you.
